What does “organic” actually mean for pet food?
Organic refers to how the ingredients are farmed: animals reared without routine antibiotics or growth hormones, and crops grown without synthetic pesticides. The meat, offal and vegetables in our recipes come from certified organic sources, so your dog gets clean protein and produce without the chemical residue that can build up in conventionally farmed ingredients.
It also means shorter, more transparent supply chains. We know the farms our ingredients come from, and we prepare meals in small batches rather than mass-producing them.

Is raw food safe for my dog?
Yes, provided it's handled properly. Raw meat carries the same food-safety considerations as raw meat for humans, so the basics matter: keep meals frozen until you need them, thaw in the fridge rather than on the counter, and wash bowls, utensils and your hands thoroughly after serving.
Most healthy adult dogs tolerate raw diets very well, but puppies, senior dogs and dogs with existing health conditions should start raw food with guidance from your vet.

How do I switch my dog to raw or organic food?
Go slowly. Mix the new food in with your dog's current food over 7–10 days, gradually increasing the proportion as their digestion adjusts. A sudden full switch is more likely to cause loose stools or an upset stomach.

How much should I feed my dog?
As a starting point, adult dogs eat roughly 2–3% of their body weight in raw food per day, puppies need more because they're growing, and less active or overweight dogs need less. Portion sizes with raw and organic diets are smaller than with dry food because there's more nutrient density per gram.

Isn't organic food expensive?
Quality ingredients do cost more upfront than mass-market kibble, largely because you're not paying for fillers, artificial preservatives or heavy processing. Portions are also smaller, so a bag lasts longer than it first appears.
Many owners tell us fewer vet visits for tummy upsets, skin flare-ups and dull coats make the switch worthwhile over time, though results vary from dog to dog. Our team can help you find a combination that suits your budget without compromising on quality.

Which ingredients are in your recipes, and what do they do?
Our meals are built on organic muscle meat and organ meat, balanced with bone content, vegetables and fruit. Each ingredient earns its place: pumpkin and sweet potato support digestion, salmon and green-lipped mussel support skin, coat and joints, and probiotics support gut health.

Breed-specific diets
How size, shape and breed change what belongs in the bowl.
Does breed really matter when choosing food?
More than most owners expect. A Chihuahua and a Great Dane share the same basic nutritional needs, but their jaw size, metabolism, growth rate and common health risks are completely different. Large breeds need careful calcium control while growing; small breeds burn energy faster and need calorie-dense portions; flat-faced breeds do better with food they can pick up and chew easily.

What should I feed a large breed?
Large and giant breeds grow over a longer period, so their puppy food must support steady growth without encouraging too-fast development, which stresses joints. As adults, the focus shifts to lean muscle, joint support and keeping weight down to protect hips and elbows.

And small breeds?
Small dogs have fast metabolisms and tiny stomachs, so they need nutrient-dense food in small, frequent portions. Their smaller jaws also do better with finely minced meals and appropriately sized treats.

I have a flat-faced breed (French Bulldog, Pug, Bulldog). Anything different?
Flat-faced breeds can struggle to pick up large chunks, so finer-minced food and shallow bowls make mealtimes easier. They're also prone to food sensitivities, skin fold irritation and weight gain, all of which respond well to a clean, portion-controlled diet.

Do you have advice for Cyprus hunting dogs and local mixes?
Yes. Hunting dogs in Cyprus work hard across long distances, so they need higher energy density and careful conditioning around the season. Local poodle mixes and rescue dogs vary enormously — their guide covers how to read your dog's condition and adjust portions accordingly.

My dog has allergies or a sensitive stomach. Where do I start?
Start by simplifying. A single-protein, limited-ingredient diet removes the guesswork and lets you see whether symptoms settle. Common triggers are proteins a dog has eaten regularly for years, such as chicken or beef.

Do you deliver across Cyprus?
Yes. Frozen meals travel with our own delivery team, once a week per area between 11:00 and 15:00 — Tuesday Limassol, Wednesday Larnaca & Ammochostos, Thursday Nicosia, Friday Paphos. Order at least one day before your area's delivery day.
Non-frozen items can go to a Box Now locker, or be collected from any of our three stores. We also ship to Greece and the wider EU.

What is your returns policy?
