Our mission#
At Organic Dog Chef, we believe your dog deserves more than a bag of food from a supermarket shelf. They deserve nutrition that supports a long, healthy and genuinely happy life, built from ingredients you can recognise and trust.
Founded in 2016, we were the first concept in the Mediterranean dedicated entirely to natural, organic and biologically appropriate nutrition for pets. Our mission has never changed: raise the standard for what goes into your dog's bowl by offering products that prioritise health, transparency and quality over convenience or cost-cutting.
How it started#
Organic Dog Chef was founded by Executive Chef Gregoris Georgiou, who brought a chef's approach to pet food: real ingredients, proper technique and an insistence on knowing exactly what goes into every recipe. That kitchen mindset is still at the heart of everything we make today.
Almost a decade on, we're proud to be Cyprus's first and longest-running organic pet nutrition specialist, with stores in Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia serving dog owners across the island.
Who makes our treats?#
We handcraft a range of organic, human-grade treats in-house, created and refined by Executive Chef Gregoris Georgiou. Each recipe is developed the way you'd develop one for people: balancing flavour, texture and nutrition, then testing it in the real world with real dogs.
Alongside our own recipes, we thoughtfully source raw food and natural treats from trusted producers who share our standards for ingredients and welfare. We don't add a product to our shelves just because it sells; it has to earn its place.
What else do we offer?#
Nutrition is the foundation, but it isn't the whole picture. To support dogs inside and out, we also offer a curated range of natural supplements and everyday care products, from joint and digestive support to grooming essentials.
Everything we stock is chosen to be clean, gentle and free from harsh or unnecessary chemicals, so you can care for your dog's coat, skin and comfort with the same standards you apply to their food. We also carry accessories, beds and collars for the practical side of dog ownership.
What we believe#
We believe true health starts with real food. Dogs are individuals, not averages, so we spend time getting to know your dog's needs rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all diet.
That's why so much of what we do is collaborative. We work closely with local vets on dogs with allergies, sensitivities and digestive issues, and we're always happy to talk through your dog's specific situation in-store rather than simply pointing you at a shelf.
Who we work with#
We serve dog owners across Cyprus from our Larnaca, Limassol and Nicosia stores, as well as pet shops, resellers and other businesses through our wholesale programme. Many of our customers first come to us on the recommendation of their vet.
